Civil Affairs telegram No. 580 of 21st instant, asking me to forward for the information of Mr. Pollock any Press comments in the local papers concerning the recent visit of Canton journalists to Hongkong.

of an identical account of this tour of the journalists which appeared in all the local newspapers.

It will be noted that the

article refers to a blockade of Macao and terain- ates with a violent attack on that colony.
